lyrics
Carrie say "marry me" but I don't want to be killed or die alone
I'm a stay single girl, keep it going 'cause I don't want die alone
Just like the night moon sticks around after the sun comes out
We stumble home, 2 jerks, while normal people walk to work
Kick it out, stick it out, everybody dies too soon
Alex P. Keaton does uppers, skips supper, don't want to sleep at all
I'ma stay on it like Nick is on moterbikes, Jen's out at the mall
My my McKinley high, young hearts got broke, Karen got high
Kev waited, Winnie rolled, they bang on the last episode
Kick it out, stick it out, everybody dies too soon
The waiting, is a dangerous game honey
Love will show her face then she'll race right off
So hold on to that thing you want brother
You've got to get it in before you get it gone
'Cause life is like ripping on motorbikes
One tank of gas never lasts long and neither will you
So kick it out, stick it out, everybody dies too soon

The melody, the tone, the lyrics. GENIUS. I totally dig The Dudes (which brought me here )...but this has a special place in my heart. Love it! No jokes in this post! captaincrim
Montreal psych-pop veterans sound as infectious and hypnotic as ever on their seventh LP, slinging jangly riffs and bright vocal harmonies. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 14, 2024

Here, Vacon chats about love related themes, the vexes and momentary satisfactions one encounters in trying to bang one's way to happiness. The ladies love Danny Vacon, and Danny Vacon loves the ladies, and yet the two somehow elude each other. I can't wait for the album in which Vacon sings about raising kids, going to work, trying to stuff some Netflix in with his long-suffering wife, and maybe binge drinking hard alcohol after everyone has gone to bed.
