lyrics
You know I feel good, look good, wouldn't change anything
I hit the room right out of the womb laughing and gesturing
I am the portrait of class, super fast and I'm humble too
See, I've got a 9 pound heart, wicked smart and I'm into you
Yes, I've got a nine pound heart, wicked smart I'm into you
I think I'm something but you think I'm something else
You know that I look good in my clothes, in your clothes, in anybody's clothes
December 2006, 25th on campus radio
I've got two steps in my stride, babies cry each time I leave the room
I've got a kiss for the bride and advice for the timid groom
I've got a kiss for the bride and advice for the timid groom
I think I'm something but you think I'm something else
At the roller rink holding hands
I am my #1 fan
At my mom's stealing ativan
I am my #1 fan
In the parking lot crushing cans
I am my #1 fan
When I'm last in pilates class
I am my #1 fan
At the track making 50 grand
I am my #1 fan
But I can't understand how to break your top 10
I think I'm something but you think I'm something else
I think I'm something, Oh I've got to be something but you think I'm something else
The melody, the tone, the lyrics. GENIUS. I totally dig The Dudes (which brought me here )...but this has a special place in my heart. Love it! No jokes in this post! captaincrim
Montreal psych-pop veterans sound as infectious and hypnotic as ever on their seventh LP, slinging jangly riffs and bright vocal harmonies. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 14, 2024
Here, Vacon chats about love related themes, the vexes and momentary satisfactions one encounters in trying to bang one's way to happiness. The ladies love Danny Vacon, and Danny Vacon loves the ladies, and yet the two somehow elude each other. I can't wait for the album in which Vacon sings about raising kids, going to work, trying to stuff some Netflix in with his long-suffering wife, and maybe binge drinking hard alcohol after everyone has gone to bed.
